The project
The house sits on a corner, so the extension is on show from two streets. We used a brick close to the original and laid part of it as an open screen, which lets light into the new hall and keeps it private.
Planning came through in October and we're now on the technical drawings and building regulations, ready to price with three local builders in the new year.
